Macbeth: Act 3: Scene 6.
Characters: Lennox, Lord
Events: Lennox is being sarcastic in the fact that Macbeth is not honouring the king role of King Duncan because he killed his guards and then killed banquo and because Fleance fled the murder it looks like Fleance killed Banquo. Lord is stating that scotland is not in peace and this is shown when he says “Free from our feasts and banquets without knives” he’s also trying to say that as soon as Macbeth is not king Scotland will have peace again and then people are plotting against Macbeth including Macduff.
Quotes: “Free from feasts and banquets without knives” – Lord.
